I have to share this; it is so relevant to our fast for humility right now. Yesterday, God told me to go walking as I usually do when the day is pleasant. Lately with all the rain in Birmingham, it has felt like Seattle and walking in the area has not been as frequent during the last few weeks. Well yesterday those who live here know it was COLD!!!! I believe it was 37 degrees when I walked. I had gloves, sunglasses, hoodie, and a scarf, bundled for my walk. The sun was out and made it tolerable and I was so desperate for a beautiful sunny day of walking. This is what is funny, while walking I got a wind burn, like a sun burn. In addition, by about 12 minutes in, I realized water was pouring down my face from my eyes. I took my gloves off and wiped them with my hands. Then another 5 minutes later, I realize my entire face is wet!!!! Although I had sunglasses on, my eyes were so full of water that it was like buckets pouring down my face. Now let me preface what I'm going to say next, with this has NEVER happened, but the analogy is necessary. The next thing I noticed that all around my mouth I was covered in water, and I realized my face had gotten so numb that somehow I now had drool coming out of my mouth!!!! Please do not gross out; it is necessary for me to humble myself to share what God showed me. I had to wipe my entire face that was covered in water and I COULD NOT FEEL IT!!!!!! Do you know that the COLD had so NUMBED my face that was exposed to the elements, that I had no idea of my present condition because of the coldness that produced the numbness!!!!!!! DO YOU HEAR THIS???????????? God showed me as the Love of many would grow cold in the end of the age. Unless we humbled ourselves in fasting and prayer, we would be CLUELESS TO OUR PRESENT CONDITION, BECAUSE LOVE WOULD GROW COLD, MAKING US NUMB TO OUR STATE!!!!!! JUST WOW!!!!!!! Saints, that will preach there!!!! Many of us are walking around, clueless to the fact we look a MESS, unaware of our condition, because we have not humbled ourselves!!! WOW WOW WOW WOW!!!! PREACH LORD!!!! PIERCE OUR HEARTS!!!!! A daughter desperate to know her state through the Word! Robin Kirby-Gatto
