DO NOT BE DECEIVED NOTE ON KUNDALINI By Robin Kirby-Gatto 2/1/12 To preface this because it is such a sensitive topic, my husband and I have ministries whereby we equip people in the gifts of Holy Spirit, talking in tongues, interpretation of tongues, words of wisdom and knowledge, healing, faith, and prophecy, as well as discerning of spirits. We have had people in our meetings shake under the power of Holy Spirit because God's glory has been so strong, we have had people go into a vision of the Lord as is in the Word. I have been in meetings where Holy Spirit came like in the day of Pentecost into the room in tongues of fire and power where we were all drunk at a METHODIST CHURCH where I ministered! I have been filled with utter joy by Holy Spirit that I laughed for 2-3 hours in the Philippines, after I had been in 4 hours of prayer and intercession, which was a couple of days before we were almost killed by a mob of Muslims (God knew we needed it). Therefore, I am not denying that these exist by Holy Spirit because we have lived it and seen it in our own lives and ministry. However, this is where we have to ask for DISCERNING OF SPIRITS!!!!!!!! I did not want to do this article and wanted God to choose someone else. However, God said Robin I gave it to you to expose so that the abomination would be removed from My House. Therefore, I will not back down from doing what God has asked me to do because I love, love, love Holy Spirit and those people that know me,know me for Holy Spirit. I fully 100% believe Asuza Street and what happened at that revival was PURELY HOLY SPIRIT and people like Maria Woodworth Etter was 100% fully fully fully Holy Spirit! One of the things Holy Spirit manifests in revival is REPENTANCE, where entire cities shut down because people are convicted to the core of their being that they need a Savior. There is fruit of repentance with Holy Spirit and lives are changed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In February of 2010 Holy Spirit quickened me and said look at Daniel 11. Therefore, I turned to the book of Daniel and began reading in the middle of the Chapter. Afterward, Holy Spirit spotlighted the key scriptures He wanted me to see. Daniel 11:31-35. 31And armed forces of his shall appear [in the holy land] and they shall pollute the sanctuary, the [spiritual] stronghold, and shall take away the continual [daily burnt offering]; and they shall set up [in the sanctuary] the abomination that astonishes and makes desolate [probably an altar to a pagan god]. 32And such as violate the covenant he shall pervert and seduce with flatteries, but the people who know their God shall prove themselves strong and shall stand firm and do exploits [for God]. 33And they who are wise and understanding among the people shall instruct many and make them understand, though some [of them and their followers] shall fall by the sword and flame, by captivity and plunder, for many days. 34Now when they fall, they shall receive a little help. Many shall join themselves to them with flatteries and hypocrisies. 35And some of those who are wise, prudent, and understanding shall be weakened and fall, [thus, then, the insincere among the people will lose courage and become deserters. It will be a test] to refine, to purify, and to make those among [God's people] white, even to the time of the end, because it is yet for the time [God] appointed. Daniel 11:31-35 AMP. Holy Spirit told me that there were many who were wise in their own eyes and the eyes of others that were in leadership as we see here in Daniel that were about to fall away from the faith because of hypocrisies and deception. However, that this testing had to come to the body of Christ Jesus to PURIFY THE BRIDE!!!! That the TRUE BRIDE, the LOYAL BRIDE, would become HOLY as GOD IS HOLY! This testing has to come to shake out what is not of God. I shared this word with others in the body of Christ Jesus and stated we have to be looking for what Holy Spirit is talking about so that we do not fall into deception and we must pray for those in leadership and the church. Around a year later, I believe February 2010 (one year from when God told me the other), God had me promote a video by David Wilkerson on weird manifestations in the church. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=endscreen&v=IrpW6Xctg8Q&NR=1 When I promoted this video it was as if no one saw it. I do remember posting a lot of his teachings that day and this was prior to David Wilkerson’s passing away last year. David Wilkerson is a General of the Faith of Christ Jesus and I respect his message from the Lord. I continued to keep that video in the back of my mind from time to time and press into more of God. Nearly a year later, which is two years after God gave me the scriptures in Daniel, we had a meeting in which I preached a message and the warfare during that meeting was the most heightened warfare ever! I had been in meetings being hit by leviathan and already have dealt with using my authority in Christ Jesus to battle that particular devil; one of the things leviathan does is “send messages to your mind” to make you think it is God speaking when it is the devil. The warfare at the meeting I was at recently was nothing like that of leviathan. This devil was amped up to the manifestation of jezebel and python combing in a way to bring forth an open door for a demonic assault that continually hit me while preaching and while in worship. Before the meeting ever began, Holy Spirit showed me things that a person might believe they were operating under Holy Spirit but the person was not and they were deceived. Right after that meeting Holy Spirit began dropping in my spirit the video again from David Wilkerson about weird manifestations. As I heard that from Holy Spirit then I began hearing “kundalini” and was prompted with urgency to look it up. I did find it in Wikipedia and from Andrew Strom’s work. As I listened to it and researched it I found out that what was hitting me before the meeting started all throughout the meeting actually manifested as Andrew Strom had identified in his study regarding this spirit that is from Hinduism. “Kundalini is described as a sleeping, dormant potential force in the human organism.[6] It is one of the components of an esoteric description of the 'subtle body', which consists of nadis (energy channels), chakras (psychic centres), prana (subtle energy), and bindu (drops of essence).Kundalini is described as being coiled up at the base of the spine, usually within muladhara chakra. The image given is that of a serpent coiled three and a half times around a smokey grey lingam. Each coil is said to represent one of the three gunas, with the half coil signifying transcendence.Through meditation, and various esoteric practices, such as Kundalini Yoga, Sahaja Yoga, and Kriya Yoga, the kundalini is awakened, and can rise up through the central nadi, called sushumna, that rises up inside or alongside the spine. The progress of kundalini through the different chakras leads to different levels of awakening and mystical experience, until the kundalini finally reaches the top of the head, Sahasrara chakra, producing an extremely profound mystical experience that is said to be indescribable”. (Wikipedia.kundalini) This spirit tries to look like Holy Spirit but is not. Holy Spirit is able to bring us the power of God and bring forth God’s glory to bring us joy unspeakable and full of glory that even the apostles were considered drunk when they came out of the upper room. The Holy Spirit can allow us to enter a vision of the Lord in a trance like state as Peter did when God showed him about going to the gentile. Therefore, Holy Spirit gives us only what is of God pure and Holy! However, this other spirit that Holy Spirit showed me is a counterfeit of Holy Spirit and imitates even some of the things Holy Spirit’s presence might be with us. Holy Spirit is only of God and when we feel God’s presence by Holy Spirit we might feel the power of God, like electricity, we might tremble because His glory is so profound and strong, we might even be in a vision of the Lord like Peter as in a trance, we might feel the joy of the Lord like a drunken state and laugh as the Apostles when they were filled with Power of Holy Spirit in the upper room; many considered them drunk. Moreover, I have felt the fire of God come upon me and others physically when there was a manifestation of healing, a purification of my soul to turn me to repent, power of Holy Spirit, and tangible presence of God. Therefore, this is where we have to be cautious because Holy Spirit in us can manifest in these ways we have seen in scripture. (both Jews and converts to Judaism); Cretans and Arabs—we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!” 12 Amazed and perplexed, they asked one another, “What does this mean?” 13 Some, however, made fun of them and said, “THEY HAVE HAD TOO MUCH WINE.” Acts 2:12-13 AMP. Thereupon I [Jeremiah] awoke and looked, and my [TRANCELIKE] sleep was sweet [in the assurance it gave] to me. Jeremiah 31:26 AMP But he became very hungry, and wanted something to eat; and while the meal was being prepared a TRANCE came over him, Acts 10:10 AMP I was in the town of Joppa praying, and [falling] in a TRANCE I saw a vision of something coming down from heaven, like a huge sheet lowered by the four corners; and it descended until it came to me. Acts 11:5 AMP. 14And he said, The God of our forefathers has destined and appointed you to come progressively to know His will [to perceive, to recognize more strongly and clearly, and to become better and more intimately acquainted with His will], and to see the Righteous One (Jesus Christ, the Messiah), and to hear a voice from His [own] mouth and a message from His [own] lips; 15For you will be His witness unto all men of everything that you have seen and heard. 16And now, why do you delay? Rise and be baptized, and by calling upon His name, wash away your sins. 17Then when I had come back to Jerusalem and was praying in the temple [[enclosure], I FELL INTO A TRANCE (AN ECSTASY); 18And I saw Him as He said to me, Hurry, get quickly out of Jerusalem, because they will not receive your testimony about Me. Acts 22:14-18 AMP. All of these scriptures indicate a demonstration of Holy Spirit moving as filling us with joy, bringing us into a vision of the Lord that might be as of that of a trance (Maria Woodworth Etter was highly known for this and she moved incredibly in the Holy Spirit!). I have trembled in God’s glory, I have laughed with a deep belly laugh of God’s joy in Holy Spirit, I have felt at times so full of Holy Spirit that I felt drunk therefore, please understand that I recognize God’s Holy Spirit. In saying that Holy Spirit cautioned me to use wisdom and discernment because this other spirit can mimic similar things as what you might ‘feel’ with Holy Spirit except it is distinguishable. (See below) PHYSICAL EFFECTS OF KUNDALINI FROM WIKIPEDIA ARTICLE “Physical effects are believed to be a sign of kundalini awakening by some, but described as unwanted side effects pointing to a problem rather than progress by others. The following are either common signs of an awakened kundalini or symptoms of a problem associated with an awakening kundalini (commonly referred to as Kundalini syndrome or physio-Kundalini syndrome): Involuntary jerks, tremors, shaking, itching, tingling, and crawling sensations, especially in the arms and legs Energy rushes or feelings of electricity circulating the body Intense heat (sweating) or cold, especially as energy is experienced passing through the chakras Spontaneous pranayama, asanas, mudras and bandhas Visions or sounds at times associated with a particular chakra Diminished or conversely extreme sexual desire sometimes leading to a state of constant or whole-body orgasm Emotional upheavals or surfacing of unwanted and repressed feelings or thoughts with certain repressed emotions becoming dominant in the conscious mind for short or long periods of time.[18] Headache, migraine, or pressure inside the skull Increased blood pressure and irregular heartbeat Emotional numbness Antisocial tendencies Mood swings with periods of depression or mania Pains in different areas of the body, especially back and neck Sensitivity to light, sound, and touch Trance-like and altered states of consciousness Disrupted sleep pattern (periods of insomnia or oversleeping) Loss of apetite or overeating Bliss, feelings of infinite love and universal connectivity, transcendent awareness Etc. “A personal experience was described by Brian Van de Horst: he felt an activity at the base of his spine starting to flow so he relaxed and allowed it to happen. A feeling of surging energy began traveling up his back, at each chakra he felt an orgasmic electric feeling like every nerve trunk on his spine beginning to fire. D. R. Butler describes a similar experience accompanied by a wave of euphoria and happiness softly permeating his being. He described the surging energy as being like electricity but hot, traveling from the base of his spine to the top of his head. He also reported that the more he analyzed the experience, the less it occurred.Reports about the Sahaja Yoga technique of kundalini awakening suggest the practice can result in a cool breeze felt on the fingertips as well as on the fontanel bone area. One study has measured a drop in temperature on the palms of the hands resulting from this technique.” THE DREAM: IN 2006 Holy Spirit gave me the following dream: I was in a valley preaching the Word of God and there were people in lawn chairs on top of the hill on my left that were right by a fence. On the right side there was a shed with this massive fan blowing and people were all in it going "yea man, oh yea" and acting as if they were feeling Holy Spirit. There was a door right beside me to the church for people to enter. then at the other side of the valley there was a massive broad bridge leading to a jungle. I was preaching and became frustrated because the people in the shed could not hear me. The people in the lawn chairs were moving their lawn chairs from the hill top where their chairs were shaky into the valley right beside me while i was preaching. Then a man came to the door and said that people had to make a decision if they were going to stay in church. All of a sudden a man jumped up and began to run toward the jungle and i shouted no, no, no stop and ran after him. All of a sudden i saw a sniper on my left squatted down. I looked at him and he said "we've been instructed to shoot and kill anyone who leaves the church." Then Holy Spirit showed me that I was preaching in the valley of decision. That those who thought they were "feeling" Holy Spirit were not and could not hear the message of the Lord, they could not hear God's voice. the one's in the lawn chair although they were shaky at first came to a place where they were drawing near to the Truth, to God's Word, and wanted to hear the message. The jungle is the world, people falling away from the faith. The sniper was the devil set up to steal, kill and destroy, those who are leaving the faith. Please Please Please be pressing in it is urgent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT ARE WE TO DO? With all of this said it is necessary for us to use discernment exceptionally well in this hour, which brings me to a dream. We are not to go by “feelings” because feelings can lie. We are to go by the voice of our Shepherd, Jesus, Whose voice we hear; the voice of a stranger we do not listen to. I am in the prophetic and listen to Holy Spirit all the time. In doing so, I have heard Him say that there are some things in the prophetic that He is exposing that is not of God and that God is removing out of His sanctuary; it is an abomination. We are to pray for those who might be in bondage to this spirit and do not know it. This is why Holy Spirit is bringing back the FEAR OF THE LORD in order to KEEP US FROM SIN!!! There is a section of this teaching on the FEAR OF THE LORD in my new book by Destiny Image, Princess Warriors, and I recommend that you get it if you can because it exposes the truth about that relationship with Holy Spirit to keep us from the evil one, to keep us from sin. The Lord Jesus warns us in Matthew 24:23-24. 23If anyone says to you then, Behold, here is the Christ (the Messiah)! or, There He is!--do not believe it. 24For false Christs and false prophets will arise, and they will show great signs and wonders so as to deceive and lead astray, if possible, even the elect (God's chosen ones). 25See, I have warned you beforehand. Matthew 23:23-25 AMP. When Holy Spirit exposed this spirit to me I engaged Him about what to do. He said to Warn God’s people Tell the church as a whole to repent for allowing this spirit in To pray and declare a word from the Lord to break all ties and agreements with this spirit To step up the watchman guard around our own ministry so this spirit does not operate To know those that labor among you To use wisdom and not let everyone minister because they “feel” like it and set up protocol. To bind the spirit from operating and pray for deliverance for the church as a whole and those that are deceived with this spirit of kundalini. Look at Daniel again. 31And armed forces of his shall appear [in the holy land] and THEY SHALL POLLUTE THE SANCTUARY, THE [SPIRITUAL] STRONGHOLD, AND SHALL TAKE AWAY THE CONTINUAL [DAILY BURNT OFFERING]; AND THEY SHALL SET UP [IN THE SANCTUARY] THE ABOMINATION THAT ASTONISHES AND MAKES DESOLATE [PROBABLY AN ALTAR TO A PAGAN GOD]. 32And such as violate the covenant he shall pervert and seduce with flatteries, BUT THE PEOPLE WHO KNOW THEIR GOD SHALL PROVE THEMSELVES STRONG AND SHALL STAND FIRM AND DO EXPLOITS [FOR GOD]. 33And they who are wise and understanding among the people shall instruct many and make them understand, though some [of them and their followers] shall fall by the sword and flame, by captivity and plunder, for many days. 34Now when they fall, they shall receive a little help. It will be a test] TO REFINE, TO PURIFY, AND TO MAKE THOSE AMONG [GOD'S PEOPLE] WHITE, EVEN TO THE TIME OF THE END, BECAUSE IT IS YET FOR THE TIME [GOD] APPOINTED. Daniel 11:31-35 AMP. This word in Daniel has to come to pass in order to remove the profane and unholy out of God’s house! God showed me two years ago the beginnings of the exposure would increase regarding this spirit and that it had far reached into God’s church already to set up a pagan altar of worship and that people were not worshiping the real God but worshiping a devil, which opened the door for all kinds of attacks of the enemy against the church body. In addition, the testing would bring forth the true Bride, the Loyal Lover that would never turn away from her Lord! Therefore, in this time we have got to press in like never before to know that we know that we know we hear GOD THE FATHER, JESUS, And HOLY SPIRIT!!!!!!!!!!!! Holy Spirit wants me to include a prayer here should you feel Him prompting you to pray it below in order that you break all agreements with this deception. Prayer: Father God I come before you humbly to repent of any and all dead worship that I have brought before your throne, which is not of you. I come humbly and ask your forgiveness if I have not worshipped you in spirit and in truth. I come to repent of all forms of worship, methods, philosophies and delusions that have caused me to defile Your Holy Temple God. FORGIVE ME GOD! In Jesus Name! I choose to have relationship with you God fully, The Father, The Son and Holy Spirit, which is pure and Holy before You! I choose to be Holy as You are Holy God! I choose to worship you in spirit and in truth! I choose to only follow the Lord Jesus Christ and no other will I follow in Jesus Name! I choose to only hear the voice of Jesus, My Shepherd, and a stranger’s voice I will not follow. I ask you to expose to the light all deceptions I’ve held to that are not of you; that might have come into my soul and spirit by the enemy and bring deception in my life in Jesus Name! God I right now in agreement by faith renounce all ungodly ties of worship, ungodly yielding to what I thought was You but instead I was deceived, ungodly demonstrations of what I thought was Your Holy Spirit but it was not and I was deceived I repent in Jesus Name! God I ask you to renew in me a greater measure of hunger and thirst of the righteousness for my FIRST LOVE, King Jesus! In Jesus Name! I thank You that I am cleansed by the Word of God and the Blood of Jesus Christ that has made me Holy and Righteous!!! In JESUS NAME!! AMEN!!!!
